Egyptian Sign Tower New Administrative Capital Central Business District

About 50 km east of Cairo, the vast desert is witnessing the birth of an architectural miracle.

On this site of roughly 505,000 m² — the CBD of Egypt's New Administrative Capital with its Iconic Tower —

the Egypt branch of China State Construction Engineering Corporation is crafting

20 high-rise buildings and supporting municipal works.

The 385.8-meter Iconic Tower rises like a giant from the desert,

housing offices, hotels, retail, sightseeing and other diverse functions.

Its super-tall climbing formwork and concrete-pumping techniques broke new ground locally in Egypt,

while the entire CBD will become Egypt's new commercial core and a symbol of modernization.

Under the Belt and Road Initiative, China and Egypt join hands to breathe new life into this desert,

weaving architectural artistry and practical function into perfect harmony.
