Since 2002, LOPO has focused on the R&D and innovation of terracotta building materials — ceramic bricks, terracotta panels, terracotta louvers and soft ceramics. With twenty years of professional ceramic-making experience, it is a specialised terracotta building-materials enterprise integrating R&D, production and marketing, and has become one of China's most competitive clay-based terracotta building-material production bases.
It currently holds 2 international invention patents, 7 invention patents, 8 invention patents under review and 46 utility-model patents. It has been recognised as a Fujian Provincial Sci-tech Enterprise, a Fujian Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise, a National High-tech Enterprise and a national- and provincial-level Green Factory. R&D investment has grown year on year, exceeding ten million yuan for three consecutive years.

LOPO split bricks are ISO 9001 certified and have passed Japanese and EU inspection standards, with products exported to Japan, Korea, Canada, Australia, the EU, Hong Kong and Taiwan. While earning broad recognition in split-brick manufacturing, LOPO also actively develops eco building materials such as ecological art stone and terracotta panels: ecological art stone (Leyi Decoration Building Materials Co., Ltd., founded 2004) is rustic and natural in style, light in weight, highly frost-resistant, strong in flexural strength and free of radioactive pollution.
LOPO terracotta panels (Fujian LOPO Terracotta Panel Manufacturing Co., Ltd., founded 2009) are made from natural terracotta clay, high-pressure vacuum-extruded and fired at high temperature (no lower than 1200°C). Warm in tone and eco-friendly, they offer thermal insulation, noise reduction and sound insulation.
