When the morning light penetrates the ridges of sintered clay
The buildings on the Nigang campus are performing a mime of materials, light and shadow.
The designer used Lingnan ceramic tiles as a pen to outline the narrative of "stacked tiles forming a rhyme" on the campus facade.
Dark ocher pottery boards are stacked and stretched along the corridor, and the rough texture hides the thousand-year code fired from kaolin clay.
The light and shadow screen woven with hollow pottery tubes turns the classroom into a breathing art container.
The life of ceramics is reborn in architecture
The curved pottery eaves absorb the rhythm of falling raindrops, and the honeycomb pottery blocks absorb and reduce noise.
Let the sound of reading resonate with the simplicity of clay
Here, every terracotta brick is a stage character - a practical component to resist the humidity and heat in the south.
It is also a three-dimensional poem engraved on local culture.
Let the educational space develop an aesthetic tension that combines tradition and the future in the warm texture of pottery.
